Less than a year ago, while on vacation with his family, Jack Barksdale stopped by the fabled Luckenbach, Texas for a tshirt. In a fortuitous twist of fate, Jack ended up playing in the nightly Luckenbach Picker's Circle. Though it was his first time to perform publicly, Jack had found his people and his path.  And his musical journey has been a whirlwind ever since.
Jack Barksdale is a 10 year old singer/songwriter from Weatherford, Texas.  In less than a year Jack has already been fortunate to share the stage with Ray Wylie Hubbard, Verlon Thompson, Jason Eady, Wade Bowen and Courtney Patton.
Jack plays guitar, slide guitar, mandolin and ukulele, but considers himself first and foremost a songwriter.
