Aliza Ford was born on June 22, 1995. He has lived his entire life in Fort Worth, Texas.  Aliza inherited his love of singing, playing the guitar, and writing songs from his dad. He got his first guitar at the age of 5 and hasn't put it down since. He only played at home with his dad until high school when he and his friends formed their heavy-metal band Envenom. Aliza was the guitarist and lead singer. Their band wasn't just a hit in their garage, they also won first place in his high school talent show for their cover of For Whom the Bell Tolls. Soon Aliza's taste in music shifted from bands like Metallica & Megadeath to Hank Williams & Johnny Cash.  As his passion for country music developed, he started writing his own songs. It was clear to Aliza, and to everyone else, that Country music is where Aliza belongs.

In episode 3 Myzta Hamblen talks to Platinum selling producer Mr. Lee about his upbringing, his XMG school of music and much more!

(Courtesy of http://mrleeonthetrack.com)

Since the early 90s, Lee has not only helped create the trademark sound of the South, but he has also laced beats for an impressive multitude of artists including the revered Tupac Shakur, Scarface, UGK and Jay Z.

As a child growing up on a compound in Pineville, Louisiana, Leroy Williams became well-versed in music competing as a pianist at age 9 and playing Gospel in church. Classically trained in numerous instruments, he played in the McDonald’s All-American Band in 1990 and became the first black drum major at the predominantly white Tioga High School.  Lee helped lead them to their first state championship in 19 years, and though the victory encouraged him to realize his dreams, he lost his college scholarship after maintaining his newfound popularity instead of his GPA.

In the 2nd episode of Down in the 903, Myzta Hamblen talks with FASTBash winner Jae Money Guapo about his influences, his sound and his goals for the future!!

(Courtesy of https://www.jmguapoo.com/)

Jae Money Guapoo was born December 11, 1989 in Longview, Texas as James Ryan Campbell III. The Hip-Hop artist, Guapoo started performing on the church stage at the age of six years old as a drummer and tenor voice in the choir. The experience gained sparked his passion to perform on the big stages as a Hip-Hop artist, and continues to keep him relaxed when he performs today. Guapoo grew up as an athlete and had to hide his music artistry. His mother had no tolerance for the Hip-Hop music and culture presented, which lead to her strict actions banning Guapoo from listening to the music that truly inspired his artistry.

Growing up I wore out a lot of boots, waders, fishing reels, and truck tires hunting deer at my family’s ranch, ducks in the sloughs, and fishing with my buddies.
